Public Installation
Earth Line by Claudia Bitran
Commissioned by Brooklyn Bridge Park, 2017, Brooklyn, NY

Picture
The installation represents the skyline of Manhattan as seen from the Brooklyn Bridge Park. The pice is made with trash collected by the artist during 6 months in NY prior to making the work.  The piece can bee seen in the dark and during daytime, LED lights and a painted backdrop contribute to the illusion of different times of the day. The piece was created to inspire children and adults to think ways to re-imagine and use waste.
